Welcome to Reflections, that portion of our site devoted to helping spread the Gospel and Catholic teachings through multi-media resources. Here you will find the programs of Catholic TV as well as news and daily audio podcasts of scripture from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.  Over time we will be adding more resources for your enjoyment and education.

Throughout history, Church communities have never shied away from using media to help expand communication and engagement with society or for increasing the width of dialogue.  However, with the expansion and immense social impact of the new media that new media has become a much more important part of the ministry of the Church.

In his message prepared for this year’s World Communications Day, Pope Benedict XVI comments that “responding adequately to this challenge amid today’s cultural shifts, to which young people are especially sensitive, necessarily involves using new communications technologies.”  It is our hope that with all of our site, but especially here in “Reflections,” that we can bring to you various media outlets which are already available and use them to facilitate an ever more effective service of the Word.
