Parish School of Religion
Elementary Grades 1-5
The mission of St. Catherine of Siena Parish School of Religion is to assist our families in fulfilling their baptismal promises and to lead them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to carry out this mission by providing spiritual formation, catechesis, and fellowship.
Our Elementary religious education program is here to support you in the faith development of your children. Our curriculum is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church as well as Scripture and the Rites of the Church. Our weekly sessions strive to help your child grow in their faith through prayer, discipleship, and to engage in a faith community.
In addition to our curriculum, our students participate in Prayer Services, Liturgical Activities and Grade Level “Works of Mercy”. Each grade level works on Grade Level Prayer and Catholic Vocabulary through “Words of the Week.”

Pflaum Gospel Weeklies Faith Formation.
The curriculum is liturgically based and integrates our Sunday Eucharist celebrations with the faith community. The program evolves through the words of Jesus Christ in the gospels. Children experience active learning through both liturgy and Catholic doctrine.
Pflaum’s website engages parents in this liturgically based catechetical program in the important role as the first educators of your children.
