Sacramental Preparation in the Parish

Children in the 2nd grade or older in the parish are eligible to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion at the end of the 2nd grade year in 2022.  And teens in the 9th grade or older are eligible to receive the sacrament of Confirmation at the end of the 9th grade year in 2022. Please see the specific requirements below.

First Reconciliation and First Communion

All children in the 2nd grade or older* should complete the Sacramental Registration Form (forthcoming) to register for the workshops and retreat in order to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion in 2022.  There is a $50 retreat fee per child.  Children not attending a Catholic school or a Catholic homeschool program must also be registered for our Families Forming Disciples program.  *Children in a Catholic parochial school will prepare for First Reconciliation and First Communion through the parochial school and do not need to register here.

Confirmation

All teens in the 9th grade or older* should complete the Sacramental Registration Form (forthcoming) to register for a Confirmation retreat and complete the required paperwork in order to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in 2022.  There is a $50 retreat fee per teen.  Children not attending a Catholic school or a Catholic homeschool program must also be registered for our Confirmation Foundational Preparation program.  *Teens in a Catholic high school receive Confirmation through the parish (not the school) and must register here for a Confirmation retreat and complete the required paperwork.
