Dear St. Catherine Parish Family,
October is designated as “Respect Life Month” in the United States. It is a time where we remember in a particular way the great dignity God has bestowed on every human life from conception to death. Although the dignity of human life is being threatened in many ways, none is more fundamental than the threat towards the unborn, and because of the brave efforts of so many in the defense of life, the world is becoming ever more aware of the horror of abortion and the urgency to pray and work to protect the unborn.
We have several activities planned to mark Respect Life Month in our parish. You can see a summary of the events on the website. I hope that you will join us in these activities to work and pray that every child would be protected in law and welcomed in life.
