Dear St. Catherine Parish Family,
As we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family this Sunday, we are reminded of the importance of God’s plan for marriage between a man and a woman. We are also mindful of the truth that the root of society is the family. Without strong marriages and strong families, rooted in prayer and faith, our society cannot thrive.
It is imperative that we recognize the importance of making God and His truth the center of our families, so that our children, in particular, are formed in the ways of virtue and develop deep respect for the dignity of all persons and are imbued with a profound sense of hope in God’s promises.
On this great Feast of the Holy Family, let us pray that Our Lady and St. Joseph might help us to truly make Christ the center of our families and our lives.
