The Elijah Cup Ministry is a way to support vocations to the priesthood and religious life through prayer. Each week participants take home a blessed chalice, put it in a prominent place in their home, and commit to praying for vocations. This is a great opportunity to listen to the voice of Christ, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matt 9:37-38). For families, having the Elijah Cup in their home also helps bring awareness to the need for children to discern their vocation.
