Dear St. Catherine Parish Family,
I wanted to update you on the building progress of our new parish hall. The slab for the foundation was poured early this past week (I decided to place some miraculous medals under the foundation to entrust the new building to our Blessed Mother). Next week, we should be able to begin erecting the steel! Although lots of work was completed over the summer, the rain set us back significantly. Our original estimated completion was late December. I am hoping that the weather setbacks will not delay that date significantly, but I will continue to keep you updated on our progress.
With regard to our capital campaign, last week, we sent out our first set of quarterly statements to those who had made a pledge and still have an outstanding balance. The statement is merely an update on your pledge and not a notice that you have an outstanding payment due. Thanks again to all of you who have participated in our campaign.
