Dear St. Catherine Parish Family,
I want to offer my thanks again to all of you who are continuing to give so generously to support the needs of our parish. During the time that public Masses have been suspended, we have consistently been receiving 70-80% of our budgeted offertory. Because of your generosity and certain reductions in expenses that we have implemented, we have been able to sustain our operations without issue thus far, so I ask you to please consider continuing to give generously if you are able. I am hoping that we will be able to resume public Masses and all of our programs and ministries soon, so your generosity will be essential.
As a reminder, the easiest way to give is through online giving at www.osvonlinegiving.com/1114. Additionally we have implemented Text to Give, which is a quick and easy way to give on your phone to the offertory or a special collection with a simple text. During this time, I would also ask you to consider supporting the invaluable work of the Pregnancy Aid Clinic which has remained open during the pandemic to provide medical services, resources, and viable options for women and families in need of support to choose life. We normally conduct a drive to collect baby items to support their thrift store around Mother's Day, but since we have not been able to do this, I would like to take up a special second collection for them this weekend (this will replace our second collection for the Eucharistic Congress, since the Congress has been cancelled this year).
