We recently implement a new Text to Give service. For those who already have an online giving account setup with us, it is extremely simple. All you need to do is send a text message to 770-343-5585 with the dollar amount. (To signup for online giving, visit osvonlinegiving.com/1114)
So if you wanted to make a $50 donation to the general offertory, all you would need to do is type in the phone number (770-343-5585) on the “To:” line, and then in the body of the text, type 50, and then send it. You will receive a confirmation text that your donation has been received. If you do not currently have an online giving account setup, or your cell phone is not linked to your current account, you will receive a text back with instructions for how to proceed.
You can also make a donation to one of our special collections using the assigned code. For example, if you would like to make a $50 donation to St. Vincent de Paul, you would type in the phone number (770-343-5585) on the “To:” line, and then in the body of the text, type 50 svdp, and then send it. Below are the full list of codes available right now for upcoming special collection (no need to enter a code if you are making a donation to the general offertory).
