CERT Training

Father Neil, in cooperation with GEMA and the Knights of Columbus, is sponsoring CERT Training at our parish!  Community Emergency Response Teams are trained and organized groups that are often the first feet on the ground when disaster strikes.  Trained CERT members first and foremost learn useful tools and techniques to prepare your own homes and families in case of a disaster.  In addition, CERT members are trained to assist their local communities in basic fire mitigation, medical assistance, and search and rescue that can save lives until first responders are able to get to the scene.  Be part of the St Catherine’s team!  There will be multiple training sessions offered throughout the year. The next class runs for 4 consecutive weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the SCS School cafeteria starting Tuesday September 26, 28 October 3,5,10,12,17 &19 from 6:00pm-9:30pm.
