Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)
OCIA is for those who are interested in exploring the process of becoming Catholic as well as those who are Catholic but are not fully initiated (have not received the sacrament of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation). Meetings are Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45pm in the Parish Hall.
OCIA is a nine-month discernment and formation process. Those who complete the process and decide to enter the Catholic Church (usually at Easter) receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, if they have not yet been baptized; Confirmation; and the Eucharist. Catholic adults seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation will also participate in this process to prepare for the reception of the sacrament at Easter. We look forward to welcoming you!
