Lent is a time of preparation for the Passion and Resurrection of the Suffering Servant, Jesus. Faith and Mission will offer a six-week Sunday series in Room 316 at 8:45am, beginning February 26, to learn more about suffering and how it draws us closer to God. Using Dr. Paul Chaloux’s groundbreaking book "Why All People Suffer," we will rethink suffering, explore the four tasks of suffering, discuss suffering as part of Divine Providence, and dive into the theology of suffering. Studying this book is guaranteed to challenge us and encourage us to step outside of the way we think about suffering in our own lives and the world.
