I am excited to introduce a new faith formation program for adults and children called FORMED. For lack of a better way of describing it, FORMED is like Netflix for Catholics. Several major Catholic publishers have given access to stream a variety of audio and video study programs, as well as movies and ebooks, on the FORMED website (there is iOS app as well for iPhones and iPads). There are resources available for adults and children in both English and Spanish. Some of the more notable content includes video study programs for adults from Scott Hahn, Bishop Robert Barron, Jason and Crystalina Evert, Fr. Michael Gaitley, and many others. There are also several study programs for teens and even animated Catholic educational programs for younger children.
We purchased a parish subscription for our parishioners to be able to access the content (available to any of our parishioners or school families). To create an account, simply go to formed.org, and click on the "Register" link toward the middle right side of the page (or download the iOS app and click "Create Account"). When asked to enter our parish code, you can enter DFCK78 (please do not disseminate this password to anyone outside St. Catherine's parish or school community). Then you will continue to create your personal account using your own email address and a password and other personal information. Once you have created your account, you will receive an email to verify your information (please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the verification email). And once your account is verified, you can simply login to your account, and you will have full access to all the content.
