I want to invite you to join me in helping to support marriage and in our parish. I want to ask you to consider joining me for a couple of events. As you know, we are implementing an exciting new marriage initiative in our parish. We have received grants to work with two different organizations: Communio, which provides strategic planning and marketing resources for helping to implement a plan to strengthen marriage, and Marriage Building USA, which provides a various content and programming for strengthening marriage. Most of the focus now will be on Marriage Building USA. If you have a moment, please check out their website https://marriagebuildingusa.org.
For now, I am asking two things of you: 1. Join us for the marriage fair after Masses this weekend (there will be activities for the kids as well).
2. Join us for our We Care About Marriage Wine and Cheese gathering this Saturday, October 9 from 7-8:30pm in the Parish Hall to discuss the state of marriage and continue to develop our plan for strengthening marriages in the parish (just adults, no kids).
This is an extremely important initiative that is really key to my vision for our parish. I would greatly appreciate your support especially in attending our We Care About Marriage meeting next Saturday night. And I would also ask you to please pray for this new initiative that it would bear great fruit in the life of our parish and our community.
