Extended Suspension of Public Masses
Dear St. Catherine Parish Family, Yesterday, the archdiocese sent out an update regarding the Coronavirus and informed all pastors that the suspension of public Masses would be extended through April 19, unless circumstances change drastically. Confessions & Livestream Events
This is St. Catherine's latest schedule for confessions and livestream events. Please join us: Wednesdays: Confessions and Adoration from 6-7pm in the Mary Garden. Adoration will be live-streamed and a rosary will be prayed together at 6:30pm. Fridays: Live-streamed Stations of the Cross in Spanish at 6pm and in English at 7pm. Weekend Events for March 21/22
Dear St. Catherine Parish Family, This weekend, we will continue to offer our regularly scheduled Confession times (Saturday 9:00-10:00am and 3:00-4:00pm). As we did this past Wednesday, we will have the confessions outside in the garden, so as to reduce any risk of contagion (please park in the upper parking lot and enter through the garden entrance, and not through the church). Educational Scholarships
Applications for the 2020 Penny Conti Educational Scholarships are still available in the narthex on the Columbiettes counters. Each scholarship is available to any young man or young woman in the parish currently pursuing a post-secondary education. See application packet for full eligibility requirements. Confessions and Adoration in Garden
Dear St. Catherine Parish Family, The sacraments of the Eucharist and Confession are two of the most beautiful gifts we possess in the Church. Dear St. Catherine Parish Family, The archdiocese released a new statement today that “Effective Tuesday, March 17, we will suspend all public Masses for the next three weeks including the weekends of March 21-22; March 28-29; and April 4-5.” The full statement may be read here.
